Cardenden Eco-town

- an opportunity for sustainable development

Banks Developments’ proposals for an eco-town are progressing, we submitted our plans on the 17 September 2008 to the Scottish Government as part of the Scottish Sustainable Communities Initiative (SSCI).

The SSCI recognises the scope for new sustainable communities across Scotland to take a variety of forms - the Cardenden eco-town proposals are considered to provide an opportunity to create a sustainable regeneration of the existing communities of Cardenden, as well as providing a variety of new sustainable settlements making the most of the existing services and creating new facilities for all.
