Engagement strategy

In addition to the ongoing engagement strategy which is in place for our proposals at Cardenden, a total engagement strategy is being progressed as part of our work leading up to the SSCI submission.

Our engagement programme includes:

• A further Community Steering Group meeting was held on 27 August.
• As part of wider engagement and consultation, a Key Stakeholder Meeting was held on 12 August 2008. All responses and information from this process will be made publicly available as part of any submission.
• Community Surveys are being undertaken through delivery of questionnaires to every house in Cardenden. This questionnaire is available online to ensure a greater opportunity for response.
• From early September updated static displays showing current masterplan proposals will be provided at the Bowhill Community Centre, Corrie Centre and the Dundonald Institute.
• A further Public Consultation Event will be held in advance of any planning application submitted by Banks Developments.
