H.J.Banks (Mining) Limited is a member of The Banks Group which has over 30 years experience in surface mining and has built up an excellent reputation within the industry for innovative and successful operations throughout the UK.

Supported by a modern plant fleet which has recently been adapted to meet stringent production and environmental standards, an opportunity has arisen for the above position at the Company’s surface mine operations in South East Northumberland.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day on site maintenance programme to improve and maintain a high level of production and plant availability. Experience of working with Caterpillar and Terex plant in a quarry environment would be advantage although on-site specific training will be provided as part of the induction programme.

Working within the Company’s quality, environmental and health and safety standards, candidates will be suitably qualified, holding the appropriate certifications in their respective skills or trade. A proven track record within the industry will also be an advantage.
