Banks Developments identifies and delivers new sites for residential and commercial property development. These may be single-use or mixed-use (i.e. residential, retail, office, leisure or a mix of these). We are specialists in planning and development and use our multi-disciplinary team to extract best value from land assets.
At any one time the company is developing more than 40 land reclamation and property projects throughout the UK.
We develop projects which vary from less than an acre for high value residential or retail uses, to sites exceeding 300 acres where comprehensive regeneration packages are required. We also offer tailored relocation packages for companies looking to maximise the value of their land assets and find more suitable accommodation.
Notwithstanding this industry-leading expertise, we are above all else known for our ability to secure planning consents. Our planning success rate for property developments exceeds 85%.
Some other points to note about Banks Developments property team:-
- Banks Developments has consent for, or is promoting for development over 1,200 acres of land across the UK with around 12,000 housing units and over 2,000,000 sq. ft. of commercial space.
- We offer fully consented and prepared sites to market. Our blend of commercial and technical skills enables us to take on the most technically challenging sites: 85% of our sites have been on brownfield land (e.g. steel works, iron works).
- We are able to offer landowners a range of terms to suit their needs, including unconditional purchase without planning, fixed price or open market value deals or partnerships and joint-ventures.
- In 2006 Banks completed its first residential units in Gosforth, Newcastle, and the company is now undertaking substantial office developments in its own right.
- The property team works alongside Banks’ renewable energy team to develop and research ways of improving the energy efficiency of our residential and commercial proposals. We will continue to investigate the potential for installing commercially deliverable renewable energy technology on our developments.
