Hallside Flats

Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire
Site Status: Site sold to Regency Homes
Local Authority: South Lanarkshire Council

The Drumsagard development involved the remediation of the 90 acre Hallside Steelworks into a sustainable community parkland and the release of greenbelt land to deliver a new village settlement (1,400 family units) in between Cambuslang and the steelworks site.

Detailed planning permission was granted for the Hallside Flats proposal, which was a vacant site, occupying a prominent location on Hamilton Road at the entrance to the Drumsagard Village development.

Scottish architects Anderson Bell & Christie were commissioned to deliver a bold design for the 60 flats in keeping with Banks' vision for the area.

We have now sold the site to Regency Homes, a speciality house builder experienced in this type of scheme.
